− | | | + | | colspan="3" | [[U 154]] sichtete am 04.01.1942 um 19:22 Uhr die Rauchwolke eines Dampfers und tauchte, um 20:34 Uhr, zum Angriff ab. Um 21:35 Uhr schoß Kölle einen Torpedo auf das Schiff. Dieser Torpedo traf die Comol Rico in der Mitte. Der Dampfer stoppte, die Besatzung ging in die Rettungsboote, das Schiff sank nicht. Der Fangschuß, um 21:53 Uhr, traf den Dampfer erneut. Nun brach das Schiff auseinander und versank. 1 Besatzungsmitglied und 2 Artilleristen kamen ums Leben. Der Kapitän, 34 Besatzungsmitglieder und 4 Artilleristen wurden am 06.04.1942 vom amerikanischen Zerstörer USS Sturtevant (DD-240) gerettet und am 09.04.1942 in San Juan (Puerto Rico) an Land gesetzt. |
